Rahim S. Rajan is Aluka's collection development manager, based in New York City. Heinz Rüther is Senior Professor in the Geomatics Division at the University of Cape Town's School of Architecture, Planning, and Geomatics. He is also Principal Investigator for Aluka's African Cultural Heritage Sites and Landscapes database. In addition to having published widely in the fields of close range photogrammetry, precise engineering surveying, Geomatics education, and heritage documentation, Professor Rüther has conducted field work in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.
