Ferdinand de Jong
Senior Lecturer in Anthropology at the School of World Art Studies and Museology of the University of East Anglia where he teaches the anthropology of art, material culture, public memory, and heritage. His publications include Masquerades of Modernity: Power and Secrecy in Casamance, Senegal and Reclaiming Heritage: Alternative Imaginaries of Memory in West Africa (co-edited with Michael Rowlands).
