Joseph Nevadomsky is H&SS Distinguished Professor (2000) in the Department of Anthropology at California State University, Fullerton. His interests include Benin art, ritual, and material culture. He is presently researching Benin traditional architecture and cartography and translating Oro, a contemporary Ẹdo epic by Ikpọnmwosa Ọsẹmwegie on the Benin-Idah War of 1515–17. jnevadomsky@fullerton.edu
