Kathryn Wysocki Gunsch is the Associate Curator for African Art at the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Department Head for the Arts of Africa, Asia, the Americas and the Pacific Islands. In 2012, she completed a dissertation on the dating and installation pattern of the Benin bronze plaque corpus at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, under the guidance of Dr. Susan Vogel and Dr. Jonathan Hay, and is currently developing it into a book manuscript.
