In anticipation of the upcoming ACASA Triennial and its focus on radical listening, and in response to its invitation for younger voices and alternative formats, this new series of dialogue entries will highlight graduate students, recent grads in African arts, early career Africa-based artists, and individuals who have taken nontraditional career paths.
As Dialogue Editor for this journal, I asked a number of broad questions to participating authors about the state of the field and where they saw it headed, as well as what they recommended to foster its growth or stimulate progression.
