Fondation H's inaugural exhibition in their newly minted headquarters in Antananarivo, Madagascar, paid tribute to the foremost Malagasy weaving artist and storyteller, Zoarinivo Razakaratrimo (1956-2020), best known by her artist name Madame Zo. Curated by Bérénice Saliou and Professor Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung (assisted by public program curators Hobisoa Raininoro and Alya Sebti and a scientific committee of Bako Nirina Rasoarifetra, Hemerson Andrianetrazafy, Sarah Fee, and Misa Ratrimoharinivo), the exhibition's poetic title, Bientôt je vous tisse tous, was lifted from Madame Zo's last letter to the director of Fondation H and the jury of the Paritana award, which she won in 2020. Thematically divided into five galleries, the exhibition comprised eighty works by the late artist, spanning the last two decades of the iconic weaver's artistic life, from 2006 to 2020. The most recent work was finalized just weeks before Madame Zo's untimely death from COVID-19.
