Site License and Fee Structure
The MIT Press site license program for educational institutions is based on the most recent Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education and takes into account the number of FTE students.
For 2022, we are working to implement an innovative new open access monographs model, Direct to Open (D2O). If successful, the 2022 frontlist monographs will go open access. The remaining frontlist titles, our Trade books collection, will be available for purchase under a standard fee structure, with substantial discounting for D2O participating libraries.
The MIT Press Direct 2022 pricing document will be available here, soon.
