There are two serious defects on the 2013 Computer Music Journal Sound and Video Anthology DVD, which accompanied Vol. 37, No. 4 (Winter 2013). The audio drops out in track 1 ( MindBox ) and track 3 ( Transmissions from a Dying Planet ), at approximately 2:22 and 6:14, respectively. The defects were not present in the video files that the curator, Butch Rovan, had provided to the Journal; they occurred during preparation of the DVD. We expect to ship a corrected version of the DVD with the next issue (Summer 2014, 38:2). In the meantime, corrected versions of these two tracks are freely downloadable as video files under “Corrected DVD Tracks” at http://www.mitpressjournals.org/doi/abs/10.1162/COMJ_x_00247 .
