Michael J. Golec is Associate Professor of the History of Design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is the author of The Brillo Box Archive: Aesthetics, Design, and Art (Hanover, NH: Dartmouth College Press, 2008) as part of the Interfaces: Studies in Visual Culture series. Along with Aron Vinegar, Golec coedited Relearning from Las Vegas (Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 2009).
