Sallie Hood and Ron Sakal are principals of Sakal & Hood Architecture and Urban Design in Chicago, Illinois. They are co-founders of the Center for Building Communities, a multidisciplinary research center at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, where Ms. Hood is Director of Design and Mr. Sakal is Executive Director.
