Jilly Traganou
Jilly Traganou (PhD, University of Westminster) is an architect, and Assistant Professor in design studies at Parsons The New School for Design. Her work examines space and architecture in intersection with the fields of cultural, media and design studies, currently focusing on design's role in the configuration of national and postnational identities. She is the author of The Tôkaidô Road: Traveling and Representation in Edo and Meiji Japan (RoutledgeCurzon, 2004), and co-editor of Travel, Space, Architecture (Ashgate, 2009).
