Erin Friess is an Assistant Professor in the University of North Texas's Linguistics and Technical Communication department. She teaches courses in technical communication and design. She received her PhD in rhetoric from Carnegie Mellon University. Her research interests include small group communication, ethnography, and user-centered design.
