Keith Russell
Keith Russell is a design and communication philosopher and Senior Lecturer in Communication in the School of Design, Communication and IT at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He has been an active participant in academic design communities over several decades. He is co-owner and co-founder of the PhD Design email group and editor of an e-journal, New Media Poetics. Currently, he is working on a theory of the “Glimpse,” that figures in the Fanservice aspects of the Japanese new-media works of Manga (Japanese comics) and Anime (animations).
