Holger van den Boom
Holger van den Boom began as a graphic designer studying philosophy, mathematics, theoretical physics, linguistics, and psychology. He received his PhD in 1974 and his Habilitation in 1982. He was professor of design research (industrial design) at the Braunschweig University of Art from 1982–2008; a visiting professor at other academic institutions in Germany and abroad; and has published many papers and books. Since 2008, he has lived and worked as a writer in Lübeck and Barcelona.

Holger van den Boom
