Kriti Bhalla is an assistant professor at the School of Architecture, Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore. She pursued her Bachelor of Architecture from Dehradun Institute of Technology and has been working on humanitarian projects with a deep focus on inclusive and participatory design. Her approach to addressing socio-economic and sustainability issues in design is embedded in a democratic, pro-poor and women-empowerment context. She has been teaching sustainable design, architectural design, building construction, and systems thinking courses for the past five years.
Sanjana Shivakumar is currently pursuing a Master of Design at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. She completed her Bachelor of Architecture at Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India. Her research is framed within the broad domain of design studies, to enable communities through sustainable living and smart interactions. Working as a part of an inclusive team of researchers on various socially-inclined out-reach projects in Healthcare, Architecture, and Indigenous communities, she has adopted concepts of design towards inter-disciplinary research.
Tarun Kumar is a PhD research scholar from CPDM, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), with extensive technical knowledge in design research and artificial intelligence. He pursued a Master of Design in Product Design and Engineering at IISc, and a Bachelor of Architecture at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. His research focuses on sustainable design, fabrication of sensors and cyber-physical systems, and smart buildings. He has been actively participating in design juries, hackathons, design competitions, and has been inducted to IEEE HKN.
