Undressing the First Amendment and Corsetting the Striptease Dancer

Received a PhD in anthropology from Columbia University, an MA in political science from Michigan State University, and a BA in political science from UCLA. She is currently a University of Maryland Senior Research Scholar as well as an expert court witness in exotic dance First Amendment and related cases nationwide. Her landmark books include To Dance Is Human (University of Chicago Press), Dance and Stress (AMS Press), Dance, Sex, and Gender (University of Chicago Press), and Dance, Intelligence, and Education for the 21st Century (Human Kinetics Press, scheduledfor 1998)
