Carol Martin
Associate Professor of Drama at Tisch School of the Arts/NYU. She is the author of Dance Marathons: Performing American Culture of the 1920s and 1930s (University Press of Mississippi, 1994), which was awarded a De la Torre Beuno citation. She is the editor of A Sourcebook of Feminist Theatre (Routledge, 1996) and the coeditor (with Henry Bial) of Brecht Sourcebook (Routledge, forthcoming). She is Book Review Editor of TDR and has appeared on the History Channel and on BBC Television as an academic specialist of performance
