Associate Professor of Art History, Theory, and Criticism at the California College of Arts and Crafts. Her publications include Site to Sight: Mapping Bay Area Visual Culture (CCAC: 1995), a book made collaboratively with CCAC students on the histories of local art spaces. She currently serves as a curatorial advisor at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and Headlands Center for the Arts, where she directed the 1994 public program series addressing community-based interdisciplinary projects
