Annette J. Saddik is Associate Professor of Twentieth-Century Drama and Performance in the English Department at Eastern Michigan University. Her publications include a book on Tennessee Williams's later plays, The Politics of Reputation (Associated University Presses, 1999), articles in Modern Drama and The Tennessee Williams Annual Review, as well as a recent article on Williams and Artaud in The Undiscovered Country: The Later Plays of Tennessee Williams edited by Philip C. Kolin (P. Lang, 2002). She is also a contributor to the forthcoming Tennessee Williams Encyclopedia (Greenwood Press).
