Playwright, dramaturg, and Associate Professor of theater at Bard College. Her most recent play Comet Hunter is based on the life of Caroline Herschel, the first recognized woman astronomer who lived in 19th-century England, and is a 2002/2003 Alfred P. Slone/Ensemble Studio Theatre commission.
