He has been documenting kuttiyattam and kathakali in association with the Centre for the Documentation of Performing Arts, Killimangalam, Kerala, and with VEDIKA, Thrissur, a charitable trust for the preservation of the traditional performing arts of Kerala. He codirected VEDIKA's Kathakali: Kottayam Plays, International DVD Edition (2005), a set of eight DVDs.
