Matthew Goulish
Matthew Goulish cofounded Goat Island in 1987. He is the author of 39 Microlectures, and the coeditor of Small Acts of Repair: Performance Ecology and Goat Island, both from Routledge. He was awarded a Lannan Foundation writer's residency in 2004, and an Honorary Doctorate of Arts from Dartington College/University of Plymouth in 2007. He teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Lin Hixson
Lin Hixson cofounded Goat Island in 1987, and has directed the company's nine performance works, which have toured internationally. She is Full Professor in the Performance Department of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her essays and drawings have been widely published, and she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Arts from Dartington College/University of Plymouth in 2007.
