Let Me Down Easy is the latest installment in Anna Deavere Smith's docudrama series, On the Road: A Search for the American Character. Opening on Broadway during the height of the 2009 town hall meetings centered on health care reform, Let Me Down Easy affirms the need for cultural events that transform the average citizen's private voice into public discourse.
