Abstract
What happens when hundreds of sweaty, masked bodies run through a warehouse in Chelsea? Punchdrunk's massive commercial success, an adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth, is a giddy and sometimes gaudy spectatorial treat that pushes the limits of participatory theatre.
