Megan V. Nicely is an artist-scholar working within contemporary choreography and Japanese butoh. Her performances have been produced in the US, UK, and Europe, and she has published in TDR, Choreographic Practices, Performance Research, and others. She is currently Coeditor of the Critical Acts section of TDR and Assistant Professor of Dance at the University of San Francisco, whose program focuses on the arts and social change. nicely@ufca.edu
