Abstract
The Met iteration of Eiko Otake’s A Body in Places presents the artist’s ongoing engagement with the Fukushima triple disaster of 11 March 2011. This durational performance, which took place during the opening hours of The Met’s three locations in November 2017, develops its own politics of representation in the face of the most alarming nuclear catastrophe since Chernobyl.
