Ryan Anthony Hatch is Assistant Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in English at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and a Contributing Editor for PAJ: A Journal of Performance and Art. Recent publications include “The Politics of Aesthetics, in a State of Disruption,” forthcoming in Rancière and Performance and “Galleries: Resituating the Postdramatic Real” in Postdramatic Theatre and Form (2019). His book project, “Anyone Who Trembles Now,” theorizes antitheatricality beyond and against the phobic/prejudicial terms in which it has been cast, as a structure intrinsic to the aesthesis of the revolutionary political event. rahatch@calpoly.edu
