On page 9 of the article, the following sentence contained an incorrect reference citation:

For social status we use the four-digit ISCO titles of father’s occupation to build the International CAMSIS scale (ICAM, Prandy and Lambert 2003).

This has now been corrected in the online version of the article to the following:

For social status we use the four-digit ISCO titles of father’s occupation to build the International CAMSIS scale (ICAM, Meraviglia et al. 2016).

Prandy and Lambert (2003) has subsequently been removed from the reference list and replaced with the following new reference:

Meraviglia, C., Ganzeboom, H. B. G. & De Luca, D. (2016) 'A new international measure of social stratification', Contemporary Social Science, 11: 125–153. DOI:10.1080/21582041.2016.1215512.
