After publication of this article, questions about the originality of the article content were brought to the Publisher and Editors' attention. An investigation has shown that the article published in European Societies, substantively overlapped with the other papers based on this project: ‘Do Equal Qualifications Yield Equal Rewards for Immigrants in the Labour Market?’ Work, Employment, and Society (34(5):826–843), ‘Does Additional Work Experience Moderate Ethnic Discrimination in the Labour Market?’ Economic and Industrial Democracy (43(3), 1119–1142), and ‘When the Name Matters. An Experimental Investigation of Ethnic Discrimination in the Finnish Labor Market,’ Sociological Inquiry (90(3):468–496).

This overlap was not disclosed by the Author upon submission nor during the peer review process. After consultation with the Publisher and Editors, the author has corrected the problem by removing overlap and adding new analyses.
