Exploring the Political Economy of Resource Systems through Coltan, Fish, Food, and Timber Unavailable

Elizabeth Havice is an Assistant Professor of international development and globalization in the Geography Department at the University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill. She researches the political economy of natural resource regulation, production, and consumption. Much of her empirical work is on the tuna industry that spans the Pacific Rim. She has published in journals including Environment and Planning A, Global Environmental Politics, Journal of Agrarian Change, and Marine Policy.
