Public–Private Partnering in Natural Resource Extraction

Michael Stevenson received his PhD in global governance from the University of Waterloo. His doctoral research examined the agency of the Rockefeller and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundations in the governance of global health and agricultural development. Michael's previous work has been published in Global Environmental Politics, Third World Quarterly, Global Health Governance, Global Society and several edited collections. His current focus is on governance innovation focused on meeting the health needs of historically marginalized populations, and the implications of the rise of private authority in domains long associated exclusively with state stewardship.
