Raimund Bleischwitz is BHP Billiton Chair in Sustainable Global Resources at University College London, Institute for Sustainable Resources. He was co-director of Material Flows and Resource Management at the Wuppertal Institute in Germany until July 2013, and has been a visiting professor at the College of Europe in Bruges since 2003. He has more than twenty years experience in research on environmental and resource economics, resource efficiency, incentive systems and policies, raw material conflicts, industry, and sustainability. Bleischwitz has coauthored more than 200 publications, including recently in Resources Policy and Mineral Economics. He also coauthored The Global Resource Nexus.
