Walter Rosenbaum is Professor Emeritus of Political Science, University of Florida, and Interim Director of the Bob Graham Center for Public Service, University of Florida. From 2003–2005 he was Visiting Professor, Program in the Environment, University of Michigan. As a consultant to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, he has just completed an assessment of the environmental impact of the National Flood Insurance Program. He is preparing the seventh edition of his text, Environmental Politics and Policy, for publication in 2007.
