Alexander R. Galloway is Associate Professor of Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University. He is author or coauthor of three books on media and cultural theory, and most recently cotranslator (with Jason E. Smith) of the book Introduction to Civil War by the French group Tiqqun (Semiotext[e], 2010). His future work will focus more closely on French philosophy and the continental tradition.
