Rosalind C. Morris is Professor of Anthropology at Columbia University, a Fellow of the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS), South Africa, and Senior Fellow at the Internationales Kolleg für Kulturtechnikforschung und Medienphilosophie (IKKM), Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Her work ranges in topical focus from South Africa to Southeast Asia and addresses problems in the history of modernity and the place of the mass media in its development.
