Anna Vallye is a Ph.D. candidate in art history at Columbia University currently completing a dissertation on the American careers of Walter Gropius and Gyorgy Kepes. Her essay “The Reenchantment of the World: Ruth Vollmer's Science” was published in Thinking the Line: Ruth Vollmer, 1961–1978, edited by Nadja Rottner and Peter Weibel (Hatje Cantz, 2006).
