Michael Behrent is an Associate Professor of History at Appalachian State University (North Carolina). With Daniel Zamora, he coedited Foucault and Neoliberalism (Polity, 2016). He has written about French political thought and Foucault's politics. He is currently working on a book on the “young Foucault.”
