Estelle Blaschke is a postdoctoral researcher at the Université de Lausanne. She was a fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science and a visiting scholar at the Visual Studies Research Institute at the University of Southern California. She is the author of Banking on Images: The Bettmann Archive and Corbis (Spector Books, 2016) and a member of the editorial board of Transbordeur: Photographie, histoire, société.
