The West Berlin Staatsbibliothek and the Sound Politics of Libraries

Hannah Wiemer is a Research Associate in Media and Knowledge at the Institute for Musicology and Media Studies, Humboldt University Berlin. She currently works on the history of library logistics and information infrastructures in Cold War West Berlin. She has published on camouflage, on invisibility in the arts, and on aerial photography. Her dissertation, Camouflage: Landschaftslektüren zwischen Theater, Kunst und Krieg, was published in 2020 with De Gruyter.
