Cristóbal Amunátegui is an architectural historian who focuses on the intersection between architecture, crowds, trade, and technology in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century Europe. His theoretical interests include the use of cases in historiography and the reception of art-historical methods in architectural history. Amunátegui is an Assistant Professor at UCLA Architecture and Urban Design.
