Juan Jesús Romero Cardalda is a computer scientist and a musician. He works at present as an associate teacher in the Creative Computer Line of RNASA-GIB Lab in the University of A Coruña, Spain. He works with evolutionary computation and other computational techniques and applies these to obtain creative computation in tasks such as the composition of music. His present research focuses on the idea of Hybrid Society, which consists of an egalitarian society composed of creative computers and human beings.
Colin Johnson is a lecturer in computer science at the University of Kent in England. He has research interests in several areas involving the combination of ideas from mathematics and computing with ideas from biology. This includes work on simulating biological systems and work on the use of biological metaphors as inspiration for novel ways of doing computing. Hs is also interested in music and media technologies and is an active musician both as composer and performer.
