Nik Apostolides
Nik Apostolides is the SIGGRAPH 2020 Art Gallery Chair. A curator and educator, Nik teaches curatorial studies at Johns Hopkins University. He serves as deputy CEO of the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, where he created the first VR experience of the U.S. Capitol Rotunda's art and architecture. Prior to this, he was the associate director of the Smithsonian Institution's National Portrait Gallery. Nik earned an MA at Danube University Krems, Austria, and a BA from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, and is a graduate of the Getty Leadership Institute.
