In-Habitant is an art and life project that is based on the artist’s decade-old encounters with urban wildlife. It is a quest to utilize art as a research method to contemplate her memories, nature finds, audiovisual records, her archive of haiku and prose through a body of artworks, which brings together corporeality of nonhuman with their digital re-presentation, and literary text with creative coding. Through artistic reflection, the author attempts to inquire into dualistic and non-dualistic ontological approaches to human-nonhuman relations, which she has embodied in urban settings.
