ABSTRACT The author presents the results of an exploration of spatial composition through acoustic measurement and modeling techniques. He discusses the capture of actual acoustic spaces and the use of such captures to create virtual acoustic landscapes, and describes a series of sound-works composed using the acoustic captures.
