Jean Dubuffet: The Butterfly Man

Her recent publications, which have appeared in American Art, Artforum, and Art Bulletin, address American abstract painting of the Cold War era. Catalog contributions include “Ellsworth Kelly's Spectacular Painting: Red, Blue, Green,” in Ellsworth Kelly: Red, Green, Blue, ed. Toby Camps (San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art, 2003), and “The Proper Name of Newman's Zip,” in Reconsidering Barnett Newman, ed. Melissa Ho (Yale University Press, 2005). She is currently completing several articles on the subject of postwar French art.
