Wu Hung is Harrie A. Vanderstappen Distinguished Service Professor in Chinese Art History and Director of the Center for the Art of East Asia at the University of Chicago. His books include Remaking Beijing: Tiananmen Square and the Creation of a Political Space (University of Chicago Press, 2006) and The Double Screen: Medium and Representation in Chinese Painting (University of Chicago Press, 2007).
