The Cinecittà Refugee Camp (1944–1950)

Associate Professor in the Department of Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Chicago. Her book Italian Locations: Reinhabiting the Past in Postwar Cinema was published in 2008 by the University of Minnesota Press. She has received a Getty Post-Doctoral Fellowship for her project “On the Face of Film” and won a National Endowment for the Humanities Rome Prize (2005).
