Richard Meyer
RICHARD MEYER teaches art history at the University of Southern California, where he also directs The Contemporary Project and the Visual Studies Graduate Certificate program. He is the author of Outlaw Representation: Censorship and Homosexuality in Twentieth-Century American Art (Oxford University Press, 2002) and co-editor of the forthcoming Art and Queer Culture: 1885 to the Present (Phaidon, 2010). Meyer is currently writing a short history of contemporary art in the U.S. entitled What Was Contemporary Art?.
