Antonio Attisani teaches the history of theatre at University Ca' Foscari, Venice. Among his recent publications are Oltre la scena occidente and two volumes on Tibetan theatre. His essay on Tibetan opera appeared in PAJ 63. Jane House co-edited, with Antonio Attisani, 20th-Century Italian Drama: An Anthology, The First Fifty Years and has translated works by Petrolini, Rosso Di San Secondo, and Santanelli.
