Judith Malina

Judith Malina, together with Julian Beck, founded The Living Theatre in 1947, a theatre that she continues to direct today alongside Hanon Reznikov, her husband since 1988. Resist, a recent documentary film about the company's long odyssey, by German director Dirk Szuszies, was released in 2003. The Living Theatre plans to open a new, permanent performing space in Manhattan in 2005.
